Members have found a number of ways to value add their garlic
Our Co-op has experimented with value adding by purchasing a peeling machine -- it was not a success and was onsold at cost.
Possible value adding:

• garlic salt
• dried garlic
• pickled garlic in wine vinegar

It is important to remember that value added products are sold as food and their processing must adhere to standards.
Members are advised to become familiar with regulations around food production.
