Garlic shallots
Many of our members practice a planting system of many cloves, which are thinned when sprouted.
When this is done, there is a by product of garlic shallots -- that is, we don't throw away or compost the thinnings, we harvest them and put them into bundles which can then be marketed either to clients of our Co-op or at markets.
